We believe that sustainable livelihoods are the cornerstone of empowered communities. Our livelihood projects are designed to uplift underprivileged individuals and families by providing them with the skills, tools, and resources they need to achieve financial independence and improve their quality of life.
Through skill development, entrepreneurship training, and access to opportunities, we aim to create an ecosystem where individuals can unlock their potential and contribute meaningfully to their communities.
Skill Development
At Atulya Foundation, we recognise the transformative power of employment in addressing poverty and fostering sustainable development. To combat the challenge of unemployment among youth, we partnered with CAF India to pilot a two 'Skilling and Employment' project in the Delhi NCR region. This initiative was designed to empower unemployed youth with industry-relevant skills and employment opportunities.

Key Highlights of the Project

Creating Opportunities Through Skill Development
Two centres were strategically established in Mayur Vihar Phase 3, New Delhi, and Noida Sector 63 to serve the youth from neighbouring communities and villages, including Khora, Kundali, and Gijhore. These areas were identified for their significant under-employed youth populations.

Skill Training Program
Implemented a 6-month certification course in Banking Correspondence and Credit Processing, designed in alignment with the NSDC (National Skill Development Corporation) curriculum.

Training youth for a brighter future
Over the past two years, 100 young individuals have been equipped with essential banking and financial skills, empowering them for career growth and financial independence.

Empowerment Through Employment
16 young professionals have secured positions in esteemed organisations, including HDFC Bank, Max Life Insurance, Tech Mahindra, BharatPe, and iEnergizer, paving the way for successful careers.

Progressing Through Higher Education
16 participants have opted to further their education, enrolling in programs like Bank PO and SSC preparation, MBA, and advanced banking courses to enhance their career prospects.
These initiatives represent our unwavering commitment to empowering youth by bridging the gap between education, skills, and employment. By providing opportunities for skill development and career advancement, we aim to create a workforce that is confident, capable, and ready to contribute meaningfully to society.

Atulya Foundation has opened new opportunities for our village. Thanks to their skill programmes, many have secured jobs or started their own businesses. The women from our village, who once struggled to sell their candles, now earn a steady income and are growing their business with Atulya's support.
