Revitalising Education: Atulya Foundation’s Government School Redevelopment Initiative
We are reshaping the educational landscape with our Government School Redevelopment Project, empowering communities through state-of-the-art learning environments. Focussed on transforming two government schools in Jugasana Kalan Village, Smt. Rekha Rani Middle School & Computer Centre and Jugasana Kalan Primary School, this initiative exemplifies our commitment to holistic rural development and quality education for all.

Introducing “Siksha Sathi” Educators
Volunteer Support Initiative
Atulya Foundation deployed six Siksha Sathi volunteers – two for the primary school and four for the upper primary school. This was done to cater to the low ratio of teachers per student.
Improved Teaching Quality
Earlier, one teacher handled multiple subjects, often compromising the quality of education. With the Siksha Sathi team, specialised teachers now focus on individual subjects, ensuring better academic outcomes and personalised attention for every student.
Positive Impact on Students
With the involvement of volunteers in the school systems, considerable change has been seen in student grades, their confidence, and overall grooming.
Introducing Technology in Education

A fully-euipped computer lab

Smt. Rekha Rani Middle School & Computer Centre introduced Computers as a subject, offering students regular practical sessions.
A path to digital literacy

Students who had never seen a computer before are now proficient in basic functions, paving the way for their digital literacy.
Playgrounds and Extracurricular Activities
Encouraging Physical Activity
A dedicated playground has been developed, providing students with ample space to engage in physical activities and build teamwork skills.
Building Confidence and a Competitive Spirit
Participating in government-organised sports events has helped students build confidence and develop a strong competitive spirit.
Unleashing Creativity and Talent
Extracurricular activities, including festival celebrations, art and craft classes, drama, dance, painting, and skits, are now a regular part of school life, providing students with opportunities to explore and showcase their talents.

Focus on Hygiene and Environment
To maintain cleanliness and instil hygienic habits, a sweeper and a gardener were employed.
A cleaner and healthier school environment motivates students to adopt these practices at home as well.

Boosting Enrolment and Retention
With improved facilities and a focus on holistic development, both schools have seen a significant rise in enrollment, reflecting the community’s growing trust in their transformation
The redevelopment of these two schools is a step towards creating a brighter future for rural students. With a focus on quality education, skill-building, and community involvement, we are empowering the next generation to dream big and achieve more.

Making Dreams a Reality - Scholarship Project
We believe that education is the most powerful tool to transform lives and uplift families. Our Scholarship Project is designed to support promising students from financially disadvantaged backgrounds, enabling them to pursue higher education and build a brighter future.
Atulya Foundation proudly sponsored the higher education of two outstanding students:
Background: Hailing from a small village in Uttar Pradesh, Shubham belongs to a family struggling to make ends meet. His father, a priest, had already depleted his savings to educate Shubham’s elder brother, leaving no resources to support Shubham’s academic aspirations.
Journey: Despite these challenges, Shubham’s determination and academic excellence stood out. Atulya Foundation stepped in to support his master’s in computer application (MCA) at G.L. Bajaj University.
Outcome: Shubham successfully completed his MCA and is now interning at a well-reputed company. With a job offer in hand, he is ready to embark on a promising career, aiming to provide a better life for his family.
Background: From the Anuppur district of Madhya Pradesh, Vedansh grew up in a household facing multiple challenges. His father’s unstable income and his elder brother’s neurological health issues created financial strain. His mother, once a schoolteacher, had to leave her job to care for the family.
Journey: Vedansh’s unwavering dedication to his studies led Atulya Foundation to support his master’s in yoga science at Patanjali University.
Outcome: Vedansh successfully completed his degree and is now preparing for the NET exam to pursue a PhD in Yoga Science, with aspirations to contribute significantly to this field.

Why Scholarships Matter
For many students like Shubham and Vedansh, financial barriers often stand in the way of their potential. By providing scholarships, we ensure that bright, hardworking individuals can access opportunities that empower them to succeed academically and professionally, ultimately improving the lives of their families and communities.
Our Scholarship Project continues to transform lives, one student at a time. With your support, we can extend this initiative to empower more deserving students and build a future where education is accessible to all.
Be a part of this journey to nurture talent and create lasting change.

Our school feels like a different place now. With proper classrooms, clean toilets, and solar power, learning has become easier and more comfortable. The computer lab and library have opened up new possibilities for me and my friends. Students like Shubham and Vedansh are now pursuing their dreams, something we never thought would be possible.
